Eliza Horne is an Associate Attorney representing employers in various industries. Eliza is passionate about counseling management when challenging workplace issues arise and ensuring federal, state, and local law compliance. She has successfully defended employers in lawsuits brought under a variety of state and federal employment laws and before government agencies including the EEOC, FCHR, and OSHA. She frequently conducts personnel policy and contract reviews to ensure maximum protection of her clients’ businesses. She also provides management training on topics such as harassment in the workplace and unfair labor practices.
While in law school, Eliza served as Executive Research Editor for the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy, a member of the Florida Moot Court Team, and a teaching assistant for the Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy courses. Eliza also received the book award for Appellate Advocacy.
Eliza was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. Eliza is an avid reader, exercise enthusiast, dog lover, and outdoorswoman.
