Biography
Michael R. Garvey is an Associate Attorney representing employers in both the private and public sectors. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice/Criminology from the University of Maryland in 2022, and his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2025. Michael began law school at Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and served as an Associate Editor for the Seton Hall Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. While at Florida State University College of Law, he received the Book Award in Discovery Skills. During law school, Michael served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Tonianne J. Bongiovanni, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of New Jersey, and the Honorable Lisa A. Firko, Judge for the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. He also worked as a Legal and Corporate Compliance Intern with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and as a law clerk at a local litigation firm in Tallahassee. Michael first joined Johnson Jackson as a summer law clerk and returned to the firm as an Associate Attorney following his graduation from Florida State University College of Law. Michael grew up in Robbinsville, New Jersey.
