TAMPA, FL – Labor and employment law firm Johnson Jackson PLLC today announced the addition of attorney Eliza Horne to its team.
Horne brings experience with her based on her years of practice in labor and employment law. She has defended employers in lawsuits brought under a variety of state and federal laws, counseled clients on state and federal law compliance, and conducted employer policy reviews. In her role with Johnson Jackson, Horne will continue managing all aspects of related employment matters, representing clients across industries in both the public and private sectors.
“Our clients look to us for help with the many challenges that can arise in this area, both to ensure compliance on the front end and deal with litigation on the back end,” says Kevin Johnson, Johnson Jackson Founding Shareholder. “Eliza has the ability to help our clients identify practical solutions to compliance issues, while also providing a strong defense of their interests in the litigation context.”
“My number one priority in joining this firm is to provide exceptional service to our clients,” Horne says. “Because we are a go-to resource for trusted advice and strategic defense, it means we take a really personal interest in our clients and I’m excited to partner with them on all facets of their operations.”
Horne graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and served as Executive Research Editor for the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy during her time there. She is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers, Federal Bar Association, and Federal Association for Women Lawyers.
“Giving back to the community is an important part of our firm culture,” Johnson says. “We are excited that Eliza will be looking for opportunities to add to those efforts in ways that fit her interests and talents.”
Horne adds, “I feel a lot of support already from the partners and associates here and really look forward to being immersed in the community through being with this firm.”
