TAMPA, FL – Tampa-based labor and employment law firm Johnson Jackson PLLC announced one of its founding shareholders, Erin Jackson, has become a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator. Jackson will continue her labor and employment litigation practice working with employers in both the public and private sector, while adding mediation as a new line of service.

“Erin’s certification as a mediator allows her to help other trial lawyers find practical solutions for their clients,” says Founding Shareholder, Kevin Johnson. “Her blend of substantive knowledge, excellent people skills, and extensive experience in both public and private-sector employment litigation makes her uniquely suited for this role. Erin’s work as a mediator will enhance the firm’s reputation as a top choice for the most challenging employment cases.”

In order to become certified, Jackson met the educational requirement of 40 hours as required by the Florida Supreme Court. She also observed a series of required mediation hearings. Jackson is among approximately 135 certified mediators in Florida’s 13th Judicial Circuit.

Jackson was recognized by Best Lawyers in America© this year for the 6th year in a row. She was also named by Super Lawyers magazine in 2020 as being among the Top 100 Lawyers in Florida, the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Florida, and the Top 50 Lawyers in Tampa Bay.
